This class will awaken the spine's mobility by learning how to articulate it expressively. We will gain a deeper awareness of how to use the ground to our advantage to support our many movements. Weight and gravity will become our friends as we learn how to work with them in a playful way that will allow us to gain more momentum and greater ranges of dynamics within our dancing. Strength and flexibility will be equally paid attention to as a driving force to improving stability, increasing energy and sensations of joy that dancing allows us to experience. Classes will be accompanied by eclectic music that supports a variety of emotions and atmospheres to help transport you through your dance.
